Adding Products with Make Ready Connect



Make Ready Connect allows you to add products from your connected distributors directly into your WooCommerce store. Pricing and inventory are managed automatically once products are added.





Step 1: Open the Product Catalog



  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Make Ready Connect.
  2. Click Product Catalog.






Step 2: Select a Distributor



  • Use the tabs at the top of the page to choose a connected distributor.
  • Each tab shows products available from that vendor.






Step 3: Find Products



Use the available filters or search tools to locate products by:


  • Brand
  • Category
  • Product name
  • UPC
  • In-stock status
  • MAP availability






Step 4: Review Product Details



Each product listing includes important information such as:


  • Product image and name
  • UPC
  • Available quantity
  • Cost
  • Manufacturer and category
  • MAP (if applicable)



Review this information before adding products.





Step 5: Add Products



  1. Select products using the checkboxes.
  2. Choose how many products to display per page (25–500).
  3. Click Add.



Once added, products are removed from the Product Catalog.





Step 6: Product Upload Process



  • The product upload page will open.
  • Leave this page open until the process completes.
  • Each product will show a status message:
    • Added – product was added successfully
    • Error – product failed to add



If an error occurs, take a screenshot and send it to the Make Ready Armz Helpdesk.





Step 7: Verify Products in WooCommerce



  1. Go to WooCommerce → Products.
  2. Click All Products.
  3. Newly added products will appear at the top of the list.






Automatic Updates



Make Ready Connect automatically:


  • Creates WooCommerce categories if they do not exist
  • Tags products by distributor
  • Sets pricing using MAP or your configured markup rules
  • Updates product price and quantity every 30 minutes






Editing Products



Products added through Make Ready Connect can be edited.

Cost and Quantity are controlled by the vendor feed and should not be manually changed.
